I was walking towards the lounge. My neck/back hurt & the shoulder/elbow pain was getting worse by the minute. So many people rushing about. So much noise. I really needed to sit in a somewhat quiet area and massage my arm/neck.
I saw the golden sign of the lounge class & entered. I remained there for a long time; had a light snack and was even able to lay down on a couch. When the announcement regarding the boarding gate came through {& since it’s a long walking distance away}, I decided I’ll head there early; taking my time.
Upon reaching the lounge’s reception area – heading out – I saw an elderly man, UAE national – slowly making his way to the reception desk. Our eyes met & he smiled shyly at me – I heartily smiled back.
The woman at the reception desk – after taking a look at his boarding pass, informed him that he’s in the wrong lounge class.
Him: "Wrong class?"
Her: "Yes. You need to go to the opposite side – you’ll find the other lounge there."
He turned slowly – a look of confusion in his eyes: "Why? I’m in Emirates.."
At that point, a male EK employee approached him and pointed to the lounge’s location across the completely-packed-with-people carpeted hall.
& it’s then when I heard him say:
"Wrong Emirates? It's one Emirates..."

[I'm grasping
for something -
stable.]
Your neck/back and shoulder/elbow hurt? You must of been in an accident? I hope you were not hurt seriously.
